The first National Debit Tax Council was formed by Leonard C. Crisp in Queensland, Australia in 1990.

There were five members appointed to serve on the Debit Tax Council in Ipswich.

By 1992 copyrights and patents were registered with all rights reserved by L.C. Crisp.

There is a movement underway in Australia today to implement the Debit Tax.

Leonard C Crisp

Leonard C Crisp was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in 1913. His family moved to Sarasota Florida when he was a toddler. There he recieved his high school education.

He studied photography, graphics, and engineering at New Jersey State and later worked as an aerospace engineer in San Diego California.

He moved to Australia after a serious motorcycle accident debilitated both his hands causing him to dicsontinue his engineering competency. Leonard then turned to wood carving as a form of rehabilitation and began his use of computer technology.

His creative spirit has never ceased producing many inventions accross the years. The support of his wife Margaret, a university professor, artist, author, and founder of the Tel-Aide Organization has enabled him to develop his concept of a "Debit Tax".

"Now, you live on a plot of land. You are comfortable in your home. You have a small spring that gives you all the water you need. You have only one big tree and it needs water. So you take a small portion of water from your spring and pour it out onto the roots of that lovely tree which gives you shade"
