Day 1: Depart on respective flight for an overnight flight to Europe

Thu, 11 Sep

Day 2:  Meet bus at the Munich Airport.  Welcome drink at Gasthof Sperrer, Room assignments.
Meet for dinner at Gasthof Sperrer & Personal Introductions. 

Fri, 12 Sep

Day 3:  Morning free for exploring and shopping.  Afternoon, visit the Farmers’ Museum in Amerang.  Evening:  Welcome square dance at the hotel.

Sat, 13 Sep

Day 4:This is a free day for shopping, exploring, hiking, or just relaxing.  Afternoon dance with a twist.  Evening: Special Invitational Dance in the town hall with all staff callers & Markus Gensberger. 

Sun, 14 Sep

Day 5:  After church, Grassauer Almen Wanderung Ski Lift
Evening: Optional Schnaps Tour   Dinner on your own

Mon, 15 Sep

Day 6:  Bus trip to Innsbruck, Austria & Rattenberg am Inn – famous for Swarovski crystal

Tue, 16 Sep

Day 7:Morning free.  Salzburg: City walking tour with English speaking guide.
Evening:  Mozart Dinner Concert at the Peterskeller

Wed, 17 Sep

Day 8:  Munich: City tour with English speaking guide. Visit downtown Munich including Marienplatz & the famous Hofbrauhaus.   Dinner on your own
Evening: Square Dance with Munich Dip-n-Divers.  Late return         

Thu, 18 Sep

Day 9:  Morning free.  Boat ride to Herrenchiemsee Island and visit King Ludwig's Castle
After dinner, visit the Bad Aibling Square Dance Club.  Late return

Fri, 19 Sep

Day 10: Berchtesgaden: Salt Mines and optional Eagle’s Nest - Weather permitting

Sat, 20 Sep

Day 11: Morning:  Visit the beautiful village of Reit im Winkl.
Afternoon:  Almabtrieb, the Mountain Return of the Cows Festival - if available in a nearby village. Evening: Heimatabend - Bavarian Traditional Schuhplattlers Show

Sun, 21 Sep

Day 12:  The Original Munich Oktoberfest.  Special activity at the Oktoberfest grounds - The folklore regional costume parade.  We will be home in time for dinner.

Mon, 22 Sep

Day 13:  Neuschwanstein Castle, Wieskirche Church, and the famous woodcarving village of Oberammergau. Evening: Visit the Zugspitz-Promenaders Square Dance Club before returning home.  Dinner is included. Late return.

Tue, 23 Sep

Day 14: Morning free for last minute shopping and time to pack.  Place luggage in hallways to be loaded onto buses before banquet.  Afternoon: Last Dance - special requests, etc.  
Special Farewell Banquet   No dancing tonight – party or early to bed.

Wed, 24 Sep

Day 15: Depart Grassau for early flight from Munich to USA.
